Note on dance levels:
Midsummer Mania is advertised as a Plus level dance,
and that is the level in the main hall at all times. We’re describing it as “weekend plus” – a
little more challenging than an ordinary plus club dance – about usual for
weekends. While most will be from
standard positions, don’t be surprised by some right-and-left thrus where the girl turns the guy, or an occasional
recycle from reversed boy-girl positions.
But no tricky DBD stuff (unless of course the callers have workshopped it).
The second hall will be alternating schedules of full
DBD and A2 – presumably as much as the floor can handle.
We hope to provide fun and interesting dancing for
all!
